VORIS HYDRAULICS was started 1-1-79 as a hydraulic jack repair shop. During the last 20 years we have repaired a lot of different brands and types of jacks. The jack industry has changed a lot in this time period. There are fewer American brands and a lot more foreign-made jacks. The quality has diminished in the jack industry. Most foreign jacks are not repairable. If we can get parts, the cost of the parts plus the repair labor exceeds the cost of the original purchase price.

The automotive body styles changed, causing a different method of lifting cars and trucks. The latest method is the above ground lifts. If mounted properly on good concrete they are as safe as underground lifts. Vehicles must be placed on both lifts for the proper balance. All safety latches must work and you must use them.
